There's nothing worse than having an awesome Halloween costume and then, having to cover it with a winter coat because it's cold.  Or even worse...having to wear a raincoat because it's raining while you're trick or treating.

Unfortunately, it does look like rain is possible for Halloween this year.  We took a look at a few forecasts and here's what we found:

  • The National Weather Service says there is a 40% chance of precipitation on Halloween.
  • The Weather Channel agrees that there is a 40% chance of precipitation for Thursday night.  They say lows will be in the 40's.
  • AccuWeather's forecast looks worse than the 2 mentioned above.  It says that we have an 89% chance of precipitation with a RealFeel® low of 26 degrees.

By the way, if you're hoping to do any outdoor Halloween activities this weekend, Saturday looks much better than Sunday.

The National Weather Service says we have a 20% chance of showers on Saturday and a 90% chance of rain (including heavy showers) on Sunday.
