We Have a Guess at to What’s Coming to Moorestown Mall
Earlier this month, nj.com posted an article about PREIT, the company that owns both Cherry Hill Mall and Moorestown Mall.
In the article, PREIT CEO, Joseph Coradino, said his company "has plans for a 'major entertainment' company for Moorestown."
In the same article, Moorestown council member and deputy mayor, Nicole Gillespie, "said PREIT told (the council) the entertainment company would be similar to Dave & Buster’s super arcades.
Those 2 pieces of information reminded us of an article we published in August about a new entertainment and bowling complex that was being planned for Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem, PA.
That entertainment center, called Round1, was also said to be similar to Dave & Buster's.
Round1, which started in Japan, describes itself as " a multi-entertainment facility offering Bowling, Arcade Games, Billiards, Karaoke, Ping Pong, Darts, and even a Kids Zone play area within the complex."
Round1's website says that they will be opening a new location at the new Fashion District in Philadelphia, which just happens to be owned by PREIT. Hmmm.
Our guess is that a Round1 location will be announced for Moorestown Mall in the very near future. We'll keep you posted if we get additional info.
