Wildwoods Morey's Piers and Water Parks Release Opening Dates

It seems like once the holidays are over everyone just wants summer to get here. There really isn't much happening in January or February so we can't really be blamed for not liking this part of the year and wanting summer already.

For those that are already planning their summer vacation down the shore, you are probably trying to figure out when everything opens. Well, Morey's Piers in Wildwood, New Jersey just announced their opening dates.

In a Facebook post on Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks’ page, we found the opening dates for Mariner's Pier, Surfside Pier, Adventure Pier, Raging Waters, and Ocean Oasis.

The opening dates are,

Mariner's Pier - April 29
Surfside Pier - May 21
Adventure Pier - May 27
Raging Waters - June 9
Ocean Oasis - June 18

You will be able to start the summer fun a month before summer actually starts. We all know that summer starts on Memorial day and that is on May 30 this year.

Personally, I think attractions opening up on April 29 is still very early but I am all for it. In the comment section of the Morey's Piers & Beachfront Water Parks opening dates post some Facebook users were asking why not open some of the attractions by Easter.

Easter this year is on April 17, so those that have a tradition of heading down to Wildwood will not find many things open.

One place that will be opening during the winter is Sam's Pizza which is located right on the Wildwood boardwalk. I am ready for some beach fun.
