If you like Thrift Shop shopping, you're going to love the New Capital Thrift NJ. It's on Route 1, in Lawrence, in the same strip mall as Fuse gym, and the old Swiss Bakery.

Every time I drive by, I try to get a glimpse of the treasures. I have to stop and shop soon. The great thing about thrift shops is that there's always something new, because new things are being donated every day, by people like you & me.

There is furniture, lamps, artwork, costume and vintage jewelry, pottery, china, clothes, toys, and more. I'm getting super excited. I love what it says on their facebook page, "You can always find something you didn't know you need." So true.

You can do some holiday shopping knowing that you're giving back. Whatever you buy benefits the Capital Health System Foundation, which supports patient care in Mercer County. The shop is run by all volunteers, so if you're looking to do some voulunteering in the community, this would be a great place.

They're accepting donations now, so if you're cleaning out for the new year, this is the perfect spot to donate you gently used stuff.
