All Grilled Cheese Restaurant Opening in Newtown

I absolutely love grilled cheese, so was super excited to read the news on the Newtown Patch that Melt, an all grilled cheese restaurant, got approval last night to open a restaurant in Newtown. It will be in the Village at Newtown shopping center, 2822 South Eagle Road.

Have you ever heard of Melt? It's a chain, based in New York, that serves creative grilled cheese sandwiches. Yum. There's already a Melt at the King of Prussia Mall, which has a maple bacon grilled cheese on it's menu. Is your mouth watering yet? They also have chicken melts, burger melts, milkshakes, and homemade chicken tenders. But, menus vary by location. I'm excited to see what they'll have at the Newtown location.

I can't wait until it opens, although an opening date hasn't been set yet. Newtown may not be the only new location in our area. There are plans to open 20 to 30 more, including one on Langhorne.
