A new, casual, Latin style restaurant and bar, Bomba Tacos & Rum will be opening in Newtown, PA, next winter (winter 2020), according to The Patch.

This will be its first of two Pennsylvania locations planned. Construction is currently underway in the Village at Newtown Shopping Center, and there will be another one in Malvern in the future. There are already 3 locations in Ohio.

It's exciting when a new restaurant comes to the area. With the word "rum" in its name, I'm sure you guessed there will be a bar. The Patch says the owner got a liquor license transfer approval from officials. They'll obviously have a bunch of rum cocktails as well as sangria, margaritas, beer, and wine.

Their menu consists of....wait for it......TACOS. Lol. Their name is Bomba Tacos & Rum, after all. You can create your own guacamole with different fresh ingredients too. That's sounds fun. There will also be other Latin-inspired foods, soup and sandwiches, appetizers, and more.

I can't wait to check it out. You'll be able to brunch there on the weekends, and they'll have a gluten free menu.

The Village at Newtown Shopping Center is located at 2930 South Eagle Road.
