Market Day in Newtown is Happening Next Month

Market Day in Newtown is scheduled for Saturday, October 5th.

Now that Summer is over, it's time for all those fun Fall family activities. Mark your calendars, because Market Day in Newtown, held at Court Street and Centre Avenue, is back for its annual fall outdoor event the first Saturday in October. The fair will be held from 10am to 4pm.

Bring your kids and make a day out of it. Live music will be playing from 12pm to 4pm. There will also be colonial-era demonstrations, and everyones' favorite... food. Several food vendors from the surrounding area will be there with delicious foods and dessert as said by Patch.com.

If you're looking to keep your kids occupied, there will be hayrides for $4 per person. Come make a scarecrow while you're here to decorate your house for the Fall months. You can build your own for just $10 a person.

Other activities include a children's puppet show, revolutionary war encampment and kid crafts. Grab the family, and make a day out of it.
