It's been a tough year for restaurants in and around the Moorestown Mall.  So far, Pei Wei, Distrito, and Catelli Duo have all closed their Moorestown locations and now, Don Pablo's can be added to that list.  Technically, Don Pablo's was part of Eastgate Square, but that shopping center sits right next to Moorestown Mall.

According to the restaurant's Facebook page, this location of the Tex Mex chain restaurant has "permanently closed."  The Courier Post says that the chains once had 120 locations nationwide, but the company's website now lists just 3 locations  --- one in Maryland, one in Texas, and one in Deptford, NJ.

Fans of casual Tex Mex restaurants still have a couple of options close to the Moorestown Mall area.  A few miles away on Route 73 in Mt. Laurel, On The Border and Chili's sit side-by-side.  There is also a Moe's Southwest Grill in Eastgate Square and a Chipotle in the Mooretown Mall.
