It's one of the most exciting times of the year because there are so many fun things to do. If you want to kick off the holiday season and get festive a little early then you need to attend Palmer Square's annual Christmas tree lighting on Friday, November 23rd. It starts at 5pm and goes to 6pm on the Green at Palmer Square in Princeton, New Jersey.

According to the Palmer Square website, the tree is a towering 65-foot-tall Norwegian Spruce that will be decorated in about 32,000 lights.

I personally have never been to the official tree lighting ceremony, but I have walked around Princeton during the holidays. I have to mention that the town is pretty magical that time of year because it's all lit up. This event will definitely get you in the holiday spirit, and I'm thinking this year I should attend. I even saw that there might be a special appearance from Santa too.
