If you happen to be looking for the infamous Brownstone Diner and Pancake Factory in the near future and can't find it for some reason, just know it's not because it has been shut down. The beloved restaurant just changed its name and entire look.

As you know this diner is especially known for its huge, fluffy pancakes. So in honor of that, the place has been renamed to Life Pancake Company. As of right now the restaurant is closed for renovations, but will reopen in late November. Not only will it have a brand new look and name, it'll have a fresh new menu as well.

The diner is not under new management if that is what you were thinking all these changes are about. The business is still being kept in the family. Zoe Bournias will take ownership of the longstanding business from her father, Pete, who opened the diner in 1968 with his wife.

The only major changes to the menu will be its focus on breakfast foods. According to NJ.com brunch will be the new specialty, with an emphasis on fresh foods. There will be new types of pancakes as well, including s’mores pancakes and avocado bacon pancakes, among others.
