It was a big week for fans who root for Philly's sports teams.  On Wednesday, the Sixers acquired Tobias Harris and 2 other plays from the Los Angeles Clippers and yesterday, the Phillies completed a trade to acquire all-star catcher J.T. Realmuto from the Miami Marlins.

The Sixers move was big enough to make Philly.com sports columnist David Murphy proclaim that Harris was the "perfect player for the SIxers" and that the Sixers were now the "team to beat in the East."  The team currently sits in 5th place, 6 1/2 games behind the league-leading Milwaukee Bucks.

Meanwhile, the Phillies were able to obtain a player in J.T. Realmuto that many people believe is the best catcher in all of baseball.  And those same people believe the Phils are still in the running to land one or both of this year's most coveted free agents, Bryce Harper and Manny Machado.
