Brewery in Asbury Park Pairs Girl Scout Cookies & Beer
It's that time of year where Girl Scout cookies are everywhere. I just got rid on my last box the other day, and my husband came home with four more because one of his co-workers was selling them for his daughter. My favorites are Samoas (or caramel delites depending on what region you're from) If you're into eating cookies and love some beer too, Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten in Asbury Park is having a cookie and beer pairing this weekend! It'll be held on Sunday from 12-5pm and it sounds like a good time!
They will be pairing Girl Scout Cookies with beers that they feel will go well with them. The cookies that will be paired with Asbury Festhalle & Biergarden's famous brews are thin mints, samoas, savannah smiles and do-si-dos. According to their Instagram, The thin mints will be paired with their Köstritzer, samoas will be paired with their Schneider Aventinus, you'll eat savannah smiles with a Blanche de Bruxelles, and you'll enjoy do-si-dos with Innis & Gun.
