According to foodandwine.com, Girl Scout Cookies flavored coffees are back at Dunkin'.  You can now get a "hot coffee, iced coffee, cold brew, frozen coffee, or frozen chocolate".flavored like Samoas or Thin Mints.


 

Food & Wine says that this is the third year in a row that Dunkin' has partnered with Girls Scouts of the USA to help celebrate the start of Girl Scouts Cookie selling season.  

An article on nbcnews.com says that the first Girl Scout Cookie was sold in Muskogee, OK in 1917 and then in the 1930's, the "Philadelphia troop concocted the idea to bake the cookies commercially and market them in the windows of local utility companies."

NBC says that Thin Mints and Samoas (also known as Caramel deLites in some parts of the country) are the 2 most popular varieties of Girl Scout Cookies.



According to Dunkin's corporate
website, the chain currently has over 13,000 locations in 41 countries.

Food & Wine says that like previous years, the Girl Scout Cookies flavors will only be available for a limited time.
