Bucks County will be hosting it's first ever food and wine festival in May.

Spring is approaching soon, and that means there's going to be tons of festivals coming up and how exciting is it, that one will be in Bucks County's backyard in Bensalem. I'm only saying this because it's legit so close to my apartment. (yasss!)

The festival's official name is Bucks County Food and Wine Festival and will take place at Parx Casino's Xcite Center on May 17th and 18th. Oh, by the way ... did I mention, there's also going to be a special guest. Marc Murphy, world-known chef and judge on Food Network's "Chopped", will be appearing at the festival.

The festival is set to have great local chefs from restaurants, wineries, and breweries. According to patch.com, "there will be tastings, judging, a celebrity-chef cook-off, and live musical performances".

Okay, I know this all seems too good to be true. I'm not going to lie, that's because the tickets are a bit pricey. So basically $50 bucks will get you a ticket on Friday, while $75 bucks will snag you a Saturday ticket and $110 for both days.

These prices kind of turned me off a little but they I read that proceeds will benefit Libertae, which is a treatment and recovery center for women and children in Pennsylvania. So I thought that was pretty neat.
