People go out to watch Super Bowl with friends and family, so why not do the same thing for the Oscars?

The 91st Annual Academy Awards are happening this Sunday, and the County Theater in Doylestown, PA is hosting a Viewing Party.

According to theater's website, the award's telecast will be shown in "stunning HD."  The event begins with the pre-show at 6:30 pm, the televised ceremony starts at 8 pm.

Admission is $6.75 for members, $11.25 for non-members, and $9 for seniors. Tickets include free popcorn and hot drinks.  There will also be dessert supplied by Bucks County Cookie Company.

If you'd like to have dinner or drinks in Doylestown before or after the event, there are several restaurants offering specials for party-goers.

Just show your ticket at the following restaurants:

  • Chambers 19 is offering 20% off your meal before the party and 20% off a drink after the party
  • The Hattery Stove and Still is offering 20% off your meal (excluding alcoholic beverages)
  • Maxwell's on Main is offering a complimentary order of fried pickles with your meal
  • Empanada Mama will be selling $3 empanadas at the theater between 7 and 8 pm.

And if you're wondering what to wear, the theater says "Come in Black Tie or your PJs!"
