When my kids were little they'd wake up on Easter morning to find their baskets filled with David Bradley chocolates.  I used to tell them that the Easter Bunny knew exactly where to get the best Easter candy around...David Bradley Chocolate Factory, of course. It was a family tradition...still is.

Now that they're older and I don't have to hide that it's me grabbing those chocolate-covered Ore-ohs with little rabbit faces for everyone's holiday place settings, as well as all the goodies in their Easter baskets. The chocolate itself is rich and creamy — way different than what you'd find in the candy aisle at a box store — and I love that they offer so many different shapes and options.

For example, if you have a child in dance, you can get chocolate ballet slippers. When he was younger, my son was really into motorcycles, so he got a chocolate bunny on a motorcycle. You can truly customize you Easter baskets. Don't forget some Bunny Bait...so cute!

David Bradley Chocolate Factory has already started rolling out Easter offerings, and here are some of my favorites for this year:

1) Bunny Smash Box: It's a chocolate bunny-shaped box filled with even more goodies (mini pretzels, non-pareils, and Ore-ohs), and yes, they do give you a little mallet to use to smash it open.

2) Bunny Cocoa Bomb: These are still so popular. Pop it in a mug, pour hot milk over it and watch it melt into a tasty cup of hot cocoa.

3) Cream-filled Chocolate Eggs: They have some really fun fillings, including rainbow sherbert, buttercream, peanut butter, coconut cream, caramel fluff, and mint chocolate chip.

If you haven't visited David Bradley Chocolate Factory before, you're missing out. Go today at 92 North Main St. in Windsor. You can shop online, too, at dbchocolate.com, and they offer delivery via mail, Grubhub and DoorDash (some restrictions apply.)

David Bradley is my favorite way to make Easter a little sweeter. Chocolates make a great host/hostess gift too, if you're traveling somewhere for Easter. I love how they offer so many cute things you just can't find anywhere else!
