Chris’ Family Fun Tip: Fantasy Island Has a Few New Twists on Your Summer Favorites

My 13-year-old daughter just got back from Fantasy Island Amusement Park and a week-long trip with a friend on LBI. Her experience reminded me just how much Fantasy Island has to offer for all ages.

There are 18 rides (Sea Dragon is her favorite) and 11 boardwalk games. It also has an upgraded arcade, Shark Bites Grille, Surfside Snack Shack, and Scoops Up Ice Cream Parlor.

The arcade is huge — 12,000 square feet — and offers old favorites like Skee-Ball as well as new games like Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka, Lane Master Bowling, and Connect 4 Hoops, which my daughter played over and over again...she loves it. They've also replaced arcade points and prize tickets with a modern digital card system that makes it easier to keep everything organized.

They have a few special events to keep in mind, too:

• Summer Fun Fest - Join them every Tuesday from 7pm-11pm for live entertainment including face painters, stilt walkers, balloon artists, jugglers, and more.
