Community College in PA is Offering Pilot Training Course
If you've ever wanted to learn how to fly a private plane, Bucks County Community College will now be offering a Private Pilot Ground School Training course. Both its Newtown and Upper Bucks campuses will be offering the course and it starts in February.
The course will meet once a week for eight weeks and at the end of it, students should have all the knowledge to take the FAA's written exam to obtain a private pilot's license. Topics like navigation, weather, regulations and airspace are just a few that will be taught in the eight week course.
There is an information session happening tomorrow night from 7-9 p.m.at the Upper Bucks Campus. If you enroll for the class at the information session, you will get a 10% discount on tuition, which costs $549.
When is the course? It meets 9-Noon on Saturdays starting February 2nd and runs to March 23rd at the Upper Bucks Campus. On the Newtown Campus, there will be a session that meets on Mondays 6:30-9:30 p.m. starting February 4th and going to March 25th.
