Chris and Maizey Share Dogs and Cats Rule’s Tips for Keeping Pets Cool in Summer Heat
Whoa...it's been hot this summer. Make sure to protect your furry friends from the heat. We just got Maizey her summer haircut. Doesn't she look cute?!?
My go-to place for all my summer pet needs (all year long, actually) is Dogs and Cats Rule. I'm sure there's one near you. They have seven convenient locations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The staff is wonderful...so helpful and friendly and always attentive to my girl.
They gave me these tips for the summer:
- Pets can get dehydrated quickly. They need plenty of fresh, clean water.
- If and when playing outside, spend some time in a shaded area, out of the sun.
- Never leave your pet alone in a parked vehicle. It can heat up fast and be very dangerous, if not fatal, for your pet.
Whatever your pet needs for the summer, Dogs and Cats Rule has it. Go check out their summer toys, pop-up pools, seasonal treats, and so much more. Maizey loves her pop-up pool in the warmer weather. They have a full line of cooling pads and vests, as well as sunshield vests and goggles.
Don't forget, it's flea and tick season. Dogs and Cats Rule believe in more natural remedies to keep your pet safe. Stop by and talk to their knowledgeable staff about treatment alternatives like their Earth Animal line. There are natural collars, powders and so much more.
Go visit one of their seven locations: Princeton and Pennington in New Jersey, and in Pennsylvania, Newtown, Doylestown, Maple Glen, New Hope, and Blue Bell. You can also shop online for curbside pickup or local home delivery. You'll love it as much as I do.
