Donate Blood at Quakerbridge Mall and Get A Starbucks Gift Card

Most people don't realize there's a blood shortage right now at area hospitals, and you can help by donating. If you donate at the NJ Blood Services Blood Drive at Quakerbridge Mall on Thursday, August 22nd, you'll get a $10 Starbucks gift card as a thank you, plus, I'm sure juice and a snack. Lol.

The Bloodmobile will be outside of Lord & Taylor from 2pm - 8pm. Bring a friend or two or three. For information on how to make an appointment, click here. Walk Ins are welcome too. If you are 16, you must have one of their permission slips signed.

Don't forget to bring your id, and make sure to eat and drink that day.

Princeton Online says, "Recent events have demonstrated the need to always have an adequate supply of blood on hospital shelves. Blood collected before major incidents is what is used when patients arrive at hospitals. Blood that is collected at the time of these events is helpful for subsequent surgeries and restocking shelves. Summer is the most difficult time of year to keep up the blood supply so we encourage donors to take the time to donate now."
