The Lambertville Public Library is switching it up a bit during an upcoming story time event.

On April 13th the library will be host DQSH... that's Drag Queen Story Hour. Yes, it is exactly what you are thinking. Drag Queens are ready to read to children at libraries, schools, and bookstores.

Morgan Kennedy and Vertigo are both star drag queens, who will be reading to those in attendance. There will be two reading sessions with a very limited amount of attendance due to space restrictions. 40 people will be able to attend each session.

According to the event details on NewHopeCelebrates.com, "Kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where people can present as they wish."

It was also mentioned that it "captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models."

Drag Queen Story Hour will be held at Lambertville Public Library this Saturday, April 13th between 10:45 am and 1:00 pm.
