If you were a big fan of Factory Donut, we have to break your heart right now. According to Patch.com, the Factory Donut location in Doylestown, PA, in the Cross Keys Shopping Center, has completely closed its doors after just a few months of being in business. It was mentioned on Patch.com that Factory Donut posted on Facebook, "It's with great sadness that we must announce that we will not be reopening our store."

Patch.com reported that the decision was shared by Doylestown franchise owner Joseph Cremin, who made it official on Thursday (4/16). Cremin stated, "Unfortunately this was not meant to be. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason and there are others out there in worse shape than us."

It was also stated on Patch.com that the reason for the shut down is because "there is not a new franchise owner taking over the location."

We wish the best and success in the future to all small, local businesses.
