Philadelphia Zoo is doing something special for the holidays this year. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, the zoo will be launching a light show that will be having over "600,000 lights, 12 immersive displays, and 6.5 miles of electrical cables to power it all."

That sounds like a great time during the holidays with family.

The Philadelphia Zoo light exhibit is set to start November 20 and according to Inquirer.com this is the "zoo’s first major holiday light and sound experience, as well as its first nighttime installation."

Yes, this is a family event but us "big kids" that are 21 and over will still get to enjoy our adult beverages. The Inquirer mentioned that alcoholic beverages will be available at the light exhibit. You will also be able to find seasonal foods, live performances, retail and much more.

The Philadelphia Inquirer stated that mid-October is when the tickets will go on sale for 'LumiNature' at the Philadelphia Zoo. It is something that according to the Philadelphia Zoo we should all be excited for because "the Zoo has been in design and planning this for over two years," And don't worry, tickets will be reasonably priced, $24 for adults and $19 for kids.
