Great news. The Hamilton Township Memorial Day Parade is back on for 2022, according to TAPinto Hamilton/Robbinsville, and you're invited to be a part of it.

Yay. Another sign we're getting back to normal.

Save the date. The traditional parade will be happening on Monday, May 30th. It will step off at 10:30am from Nottingham Way at Weston Avenue, travel east on Nottingham Way, turn left on Coleman Road, and end up at the back of Nottingham Volunteer Fire Company (200 Mercer Street).

Organizers are working hard to put the parade together and are looking for community groups, local organizations and businesses to be a part of it. This is a great time for some recognition and to let the community know who you are and what opportunities you provide. If you're interested in participating, please email nottinghamfirecompany@gmail.com.

The parade has been canceled for the past two years because of the pandemic so locals are thrilled to hear it's back on. Some were nervous because of the rise in cases that it would be postponed again, but, no, organizers are full speed ahead.

I can't tell you how much I love a good hometown parade. It's so much fun to see all of your neighbors and friends wearing their red, white, and blue and waving their flags...it's such a good vibe.

The Nottingham Fire Company said in the article they, "look forward to the community coming together once again for the parade to remember and honor the military personnel we have lost while while serving in the United States Armed Forces."

See you there.
