The city of Philadelphia has set up a helpline to help residents who have questions related to the coronavirus.

The free hotline is operated 24/7, and it is available to anyone in the region who made need it.

Members of the public and health care providers are encouraged to call the hotline with questions.

The Philadelphia Coronavirus Helpline number is 1-800-722-7112.

Types of questions/services offered by the helpline will be:

- Symptoms and risk factors for the coronavirus
- What to do if you think you may have been exposed
- Testing resources
- Recommendations for social distancing
And more.

“Aside from washing your hands and staying away from people who are sick, one of the most important things people can do in a pandemic is to listen to trusted experts,” Philadelphia Health Commissioner Thomas Farley said in a statement.
