Today is IHOP’s Free Pancake Day!

A day that my husband looks forward to all year long is happening today! No, not St. Patrick's Day, my Hubby isn't even Irish, I'm talking about free pancake day at IHOP! I'm more of a waffle girl, but I can enjoy some flapjacks from time to time.

According to Business Insider, IHOP will be giving away a free short stack of pancakes today (March 12th) from 7am- 7pm. You do have to dine in and eat your pancakes at the restaurant, no to-go orders and of course you should always tip your waitress. (coming from a former one) Now, the pancakes are free, there's no purchase necessary BUT IHOP is asking for a small donation. IHOP's Free Pancake Day is also called Flip it Forward for Kids, so they ask that when you come in for your free pancakes, you make a donation to help kids battling illnesses. Donations can be made to the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

Check your local IHOP to make sure they participate in this promotion. I went ahead and called the locations in Hamilton, Ewing and Fairless Hills and they all will have free pancakes today! So go enjoy & make a small donation for kids in need! Every little bit helps and IHOPS pancakes are delicious too!
