If you're wondering what the construction is on Route 541 (Burlington-Mount Holly Road) in Burlington Township, wonder no more, it's a Lidl discount supermarket, according to the Courier Post.

It's going to be across from the Springside Commons Shopping Center, a main hub of shopping in that area. The article states it's going to be close to 36,000 square feet, with about half being for the retail space. No opening date has been announced yet. There are 3 other area locations that are full speed ahead....Cherry Hill, Delran, and Gloucester.

These plans have residents in Lawrence Township scratching their heads, wondering when the Lidl they were promised will be opening in the Lawrence Shopping Center, where the old Acme was. Nothing seems to be going on at that site, construction wise, and that announcement came last August.

Have you ever been to a Lidl? I haven't. Food and Wine magazine named it one of the top supermarkets in the country.

I can't wait to see what it's all about.
