Elizabeth’s Elmora Troopers are heading to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. Fans will still be able to watch from their hometown, though, because the city is hosting a viewing party of the game at Williams Filed.

The event will start at 7p.m. on Friday, August 16th. The game will be live-streamed on the field, and you can bring your own lawn chair or blanket. It is open to anyone in the community.

There is no food allowed on the field, but Mayor J. Christian Bollwage says that there may be some food vendors outside the venue.

Bollwage also praised the Troopers’ “These kids played six games in seven days and no team has ever advanced to the [Little League] World Series by winning five out of six games the way they did.”

The Elmora Troopers beat out New York last Saturday to advance to the championship. The next team they’ll face in Oregon, the Northwest Region winner.
