Two Lanes Closed Nightly on I-95 in Bucks County
If you are on I-95 every day in Bucks County there is something you should know:
Two lanes on the southbound side of Interstate 95 in Bucks County will be closed nightly this week. It'll be happening between the Route 413 (Bristol) and Street Road (Route 132) interchanges on Tuesday, December 3, through Thursday, December 5, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM
It was reported by Penndot.gov that there will be some construction work done on I-95. There will be some repairs (milling and paving) that will take13 miles of I-95 and I-295 in Bensalem, Bristol, Middletown, and Lower Makefield townships.
If your daily commute requires you to take I-95 you are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and slowdowns will occur.
Under this $36.6 million project, PennDOT rehabilitated existing pavement; performed base repairs; installed new guide rail; repaired or replaced damaged traffic signs; performed minor bridge deck repairs; and installed rumble strips and delineators along the I-95/I-295 corridor. Major construction on this project was completed in late October.
The scheduled work is all weather permitting, of course.
