A New Jersey woman took to Twitter last week to complain about an Uber driver who she says used her phone to give himself a tip and a 5-star rating.

Donna Wilson said that the driver asked to use her phone to make a route adjustment.  Later, when she opened the app to rate and tip the driver, she noticed that the driver had already been given a $100 tip and a 5-star rating.

The same day that Wilson posted her tweet, Uber Customer Service responded...

The following day, Wilson posted this update...

And finally, she tweeted this over the weekend...

NBC News got a comment from an Uber spokesperson who said that Wilson "has since received a full refund and that the driver, who was not identified, was removed from the app."
