Newtown Brewing Company will be open to the public on Friday, October 18th at 5pm, according to The Patch. Just in time for Happy Hour.

The new space (next to Sir Speedy) will be half taproom and half brewing & manufacturing. There will be some snacks available for purchase, but, you can also BYOF (bring your own food).

The taproom hours will be Wednesday and Thursday, 4pm to 10pm. Friday, 3pm to 11pm. Saturday, Noon to 11pm, and Sunday, Noon to 9pm.

The owner, Gregg Bonstein, told The Patch he "anticipates having 10 beers on tap, with a rotating schedule of lagers, IPAs, Belgians, wheat beers, stouts, pale ales, and some fun, experimental stuff."

If you don't care for beer, you can still go and have fun with your beer-lovin' friends. They'll have cider, wines and spirits. Crossing Vineyards and Winery in Washington Crossing will be serving local wine.

Stop by for the festivities all opening weekend long, including two live bands on Saturday, October 19th.

Newtown Brewing Company is located at 103 Penns Trail.
