Peach Festival at Terhune Orchards This Weekend

Looking for something fun  and delicious to do this weekend? Terhune Orchards is having their annual Peach Festival tomorrow and Sunday (August 3rd and 4th).

One of the best things about living in New Jersey is all the "Jersey Fresh" produce throughout the year, and now it's time for peaches. Yum. Terhune's "Just Peachy" Festival will run each day from 10am to 5pm, and will be filled with fun things to do for the whole family.

You'll be able to pick your own peaches for the first time this year. They have their own peach orchard across the street from their market, so make sure you park over there to pick them. You'll pay per pound for what you pick. This may motivate me to make my Grammie's homemade peach jam. I haven't had it in so long. It's fabulous....my mouth is watering.

There will be lots of activities going on...barnyard games for the kids, live animals (Eyes of the Wild, a traveling zoo will have 2 shows a day both Saturday and Sunday), live music each day from noon - 4pm, and wine sampling. Their award winning Just Peachy wine sounds tempting. Oh, and make sure you visit the Everything Peachy Food Tent.
