According to Planet Princeton, Princeton University employee, Gilbert Collins, has reached the semi-finals of the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions.

Jeopardy!'s website says that Collins and 14 other former champions from the past 2 seasons are competing for a $250,000 grand prize in this year's Tournament of Champions.

 

According to the video posted above, Collins won 5 games and a total of $84,201 during his original run on Jeopardy!.

On Monday night's show, Collins beat 2nd place finisher, Kyle Jones, by just $1.


 

Princeton Planet says that Collins, who is a graduate of both Princeton and Harvard, is an associate director for the Center for Health and Wellbeing at the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.

Collins' semi-final match will air next week.
