Rita’s in Lawrenceville Open for the Season

You can finally get your Rita's Italian Ice and Frozen Custard fix again in Lawrenceville. It's now open for the 2020 season, according to Facebook, and it's going to be near 60 degrees today, just sayin'.

All the Rita's locations throughout the area are slowly starting to wake after the not so harsh winter, with the Hamilton Square and Mercerville locations opening recently.

Even though I'm ready to think spring, and everything that goes with it, we may not be out of the woods. The Farmer's Almanac has predicted a major snowstorm for March. Ugh. That's alright, I'll just throw on my boots and go get my Misto. Lol.

I can remember a few times in the past when I was standing in a crazy long line on Free Rita's Day, typically the first day of spring, with snow piles all around. We'll see.

The Lawrenceville Rita's will be open until 9pm daily, and is located at 2070 Brunswick Avenue, near Whitehead Road. It's in the same strip mall as Dollar General.
