There is both good news and bad news for fans of the Rose family today. Schitt’s Creek will return for a sixth season, but the show’s co-creators (Dan and Eugene Levy) announced that it will mark the show’s final season. The pair made the announcement on Twitter a short time ago:

“We are so grateful to have been given the time and creative freedom to tell the story in its totality, concluding with a final chapter that we had envisioned from the very beginning," the pair wrote in today's note.

The note says the final season, which will have 14 episodes, will air on CBC and POP TV in 2020. The show’s fifth season is currently airing on TV, with the final episode of this season slated to air on April 9.
