Serious Motor Vehicle Accident Shuts Down Route 130 in Robbinsville

We don't have many details at this point, but we know that Route 130 in Robbinsville is closed at this hour after a serious motor vehicle accident. CBS3 reports that the accident which happened just after 6:30 pm, involved three vehicles.

Peterson's Breaking News reports that there was at least one fatality in the accident, but we have not independently confirmed their reporting as of 7:45 pm. The popular Facebook page also reported that a total of six passengers were injured in the crash.

We can confirm that the Robbinsville Fire Department was working the scene of a serious crash Wednesday evening. They were working alongside several neighboring EMS and fire agencies:

The Robbinsville Police Department says the road is closed in both directions this evening at Woodside Road. The northbound side of the road is closed at Sharon Road, and the southbound side of the road is closed at Meadowbrook Road.

"Please avoid the area," the police department warns.
