"Phew!"  That's what men were saying all over the Garden State when they heard that thongs would not be banned in Ocean City.  Yesterday, courierpostonline.com reported that a councilman in Ocean City, NJ "reluctantly brought up thongs at a recent (council) meeting."  Apparently, Councilman Michael DeVlieger said he was responding to a recent complaint by someone who thought that thongs should be banned from the beach in the family-friendly town.

The article wasn't specific, but it appears that the "thong" complaint came from one individual.  The issue was dropped when DeVieger "didn't hear an outcry for action after broaching the topic at the council meeting."

This is great news for Chris because she'll be heading to OC later this month and you know she'll be showing of her thong!
