One of Atlantic City’s most popular destinations will be getting a major upgrade in the coming weeks.

The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa just announced that they will spend $14 million to make some significant improvements and upgrades to the property, which has consistently ranked as Atlantic City’s highest grossing casino.

So what kinds of upgrades can we expect? Well, the upgrades will be centered on the lobby bar, check-in area, and more than 300 of the properties’ Fiore suites.

“The all-new Lobby Bar and complimentary VIP check-in will present hotel guests with an enhanced sense of arrival from the moment they begin their Borgata experience,” the casino said in a press release, but we’re probably the most excited for what the Lobby Bar will offer on weekends.

Officials say that the will transform into a vibrant piano bar on weekends, according to casino officials. For the rest of the week, the Lobby Bar will also include a curated tapas and cocktail menu.

Upgrades to the popular Fiore Suites at the casino will also be happening as each suite will be “outfitted with a custom entertainment center featuring stone countertops, gold-dusted sconces, and USB charging ports, while a series of blues and calming neutrals envelop the suite’s sleek furniture pieces," according to their press release

All 312 of the Fiore Suites will be redesigned by early 2020.

The Borgata's success in recent years has been astounding, the casino had a total gaming revenue of $88 million in July 2019, according to a report from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement. That's nearly double that of any other competitor in Atlantic City.
