It is sad how many businesses have been forced to close their doors due to the coronavirus pandemic. You know it's extremely bad if the huge name stores are closing hundreds of different locations.

According to a report made by NJ.com, The Children's Place is looking to close 300 stores across the country. This huge number of stores that are being closed has a big part to do with the coronavirus pandemic turning almost everything to just online shopping in order to practice social distancing.

It was also mentioned on NJ.com that the 300 stores that The Children's Place will be closing will be happening within the next 20 months. We learned that 200 of the stores will be closing this year and the other 100 will all be closing their doors sometime in 2021.

It seems like sales have been extremely tough for The Children's Place. NJ.com reported that the store is having a major sale and some will have "liquidation sales, depending on inventory." It is sad that so many stores are closing but this perhaps is the time to shop because The Children's Place is having sales up to 80% off online.

Out of all of The Children's Place locations in the Garden State, none of them have made it clear if they will remain open or close their doors.

NJ.com also stated that The Children's Place sales have dropped close to 40% compared to last year's sales.

The Children's Place isn't the only one that has made the decision to close its doors for multiple locations. What makes it worse is that it can possibly leave so many Americans without jobs.
