The Jonas Brothers will perform at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park on Sunday evening, according to an exclusive report from the Asbury Park Press. We're told that fans may be able to see a portion of the set, which will be filmed for MTV.

Well, now we know that performance will take place at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park. It's expected to be filmed late Sunday afternoon, according to an exclusive report from the Asbury Park Press.

Sources told the newspaper that the performance will start inside the historic Stone Pony before heading across Ocean Avenue, where the brothers will play on a stage facing the boardwalk and beach late in the afternoon on Sunday.

Wanna see the show? You may be able to enjoy a portion of it, but it sounds like tickets are NOT available for the indoor portion of the show, unfortunately. APP.com says that MTV has already procured fans for the event.

However, sources involved with the production tell the newspaper that the boardwalk concert should be viewable from a "decent distance."

Let's be clear, however, since it's a production for the awards show, it's unlikely the guys will be performing a full set. However, you never know which songs they may perform on the stage.

The MTV Video Music Awards, which will take place at the Prudential Center in Newark, will air live on MTV on Monday night (August 26) starting at 8 pm.

Fireworks are also planned for Sunday evening in Asbury Park.
