I just learned that hard seltzers from Cherry Hill’s Forgotten Boardwalk Brewing Company actually just took home one of the top prizes at the nation’s first hard seltzer festival and competition.

We all know by now just how popular spiked seltzers have become, right? My friends and I have been 2016, but it seemed like these drinks were EVERYWHERE this summer. In fact, bars across the country say they've had a hard time keeping White Claws in stock, and the manufacturer is struggling to keep up with demand.

"Fizz Fight," which is the country's first hard seltzer festival and competition, took place in Denver earlier this month (on September 14). More than twenty manufacturers of hard seltzers participated in the competition, according to a report from the Denver Post.

Forgotten Boardwalk’s line of J’aime Sparked Seltzer with their Tangerine Rosé with Hibiscus and White Tea took home the silver medal at the event. Yeah, so this means that the Cherry Hill-based company beat out national brands like White Claw, Truly and Bon & Viv for the honor.

"The J’aime line has been an opportunity to put our mark on the hard seltzer trend that is sweeping the industry, while keeping our mission of delivering distinct and unique flavors to our customers,” Forgotten Boardwalk's owner, Jamie Queli, said in a press release.

Oueli says that the team had been working to perfect the recipe for over a year.

“From our head brewer Evan Wasylyk to our entire production and tasting room staff, to our partners at Tavalon Tea, this has truly been a group effort. Seeing that hard work paying off is gratifying beyond belief," Oueli said.

You may have to travel a little bit, but J’aime Sparked Seltzer can be found at stores across the state. They have a listing on their website.
