Philly has been a unique location for many different reasons, from the historic displays to films and it has brought tourists from all over the globe to visit iconic locations.

One unique tourist, Andrea David,  a travel blogger based in Germany has recently visited the city of Brotherly Love. According to phillymag.com, she pursued a degree in tourism management in Munich, Germany . . . That sounds fancy.

David told Philly Mag that she wrote her diploma thesis about the influence of films and travel. As she was doing her research in 2004, she started traveling to film locations and hasn’t stopped since.

Andrea started a blog, Filmtourismus, and created an Instagram that has over 550,000 followers. David takes on a different approach to showcase different film locations around the world.

Philly Mag also mentioned that the Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau invited Andrea David to fulfill her dream of running on the Rocky Steps. David told Philly Mag that she “always wanted to run up the Rocky steps and discover the places I only knew from the movies by myself, so Philadelphia was on my travel wish list for quite a while.”

Other iconic locations she visited includes Roberto Clemente Park from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Historic Lansdowne Theater featured in Silver Linings Playbook, and many more.
