TRAFFIC ALERT: Route 29 in Hopewell Closed Due to Crash

Traffic in and around Mercer County has already been pretty rough this week with some of the construction in and around I-295 and the Scudder Falls Bridge.

We have more bad news. As of 12:00 pm today, we've learned that Route 29 North/South is CLOSED between Washington Crossing - Pennington Road and Pleasant Valley Road in Hopewell.

The exact nature of the accident wasn't immediately clear. However, officials say an accident occurred in the area, and it has brought down some poles and wires.
