This weekend's annual Phillies tailgate party will help benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

They hope to raise $15,000 during the tailgate party before the Phillies verse the Miami Marlins on April 27th.

Wow, this is a pretty cool way to give back to others.

Almost 10 years ago, this event started out with just one pickup truck.

Pretty insane to believe that since then, it has turned into a huge event that raises money for charities.

Patch.com says that over 1,000 people attended the tailgate in 2018.

So awesome!

The tailgate will take place from 11am to 6 pm in the K parking lot at Citizens Bank Park.

Now because this is a charity event, you have to pay for a ticket to get in. Tickets cost $25 ahead of time, or $30 on the day of the tailgate.

But if you think about it, the money is really going towards a good cause. Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation raises money to fight against childhood cancer.

There will be snacks and drinks available as well!

This event is the perfect way to hang out before the game, while benefiting a great foundation at the same time.
