A new 5,000 square foot Wawa has been approved by the Middletown Board of Supervisors, and officials say a new traffic light will also be installed on East Lincoln Highway (across from the Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad building).

The board approved the plans during their meeting on Tuesday evening. The news of the approval was confirmed by LevittownNow.com’s reporting on Wednesday.

Hopefully, the new traffic light won’t disrupt this already busy area too much. We’re curious, do you support the new Wawa and traffic light in the area? After all, there are other Wawa locations that are under 2 miles away. Is it all necessary? Tell us by sounding off here:

Yes, the new Wawa will include a gas station (and about 60 parking spaces), according to LevittownNow.com’s reporting. You can see more details about the space and what’s planned by visiting their story.
