A New Chipotle Could Be Coming To Cherry Hill

According to the courierpostonline.com, a new Chipotle restaurant is being proposed for Route 70 & Brace Road in Cherry Hill.  The site says that the Cherry Hill planning board will consider the proposal at a meeting on Monday night.

A spokesperson for Chipotle told courierpostonline.com that the Mexican restaurant chain is "scheduled to open a location in Cherry Hill at some point in fall 2020."

There's no word on how this new location would affect a nearby Chipotle that is located on Haddonfield Road.

The proposed restaurant would be located on the opposite side of Route 70 from rival Mexican chain, Qdoba.  That restaurant resides in the Ellisburg Circle Shopping Center.

There are several other Chipotle's in the area, including locations in East Gate Square and Centerton Square, both in Mt. Laurel, and Greentree Square in Marlton.

According to Chipotle, the chain "had over 2,500 restaurants as of June 30, 2019, in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Germany."
