
Brazilian Steakhouse Fogo De Chao Coming Soon to Cherry Hill, NJ
Get ready meat lovers, Fogo De Chao is opening its first South Jersey restaurant, according to the Patch.
Fogo De Chao is opening a location in Cherry Hill, New Jersey
The popular Brazilian steakhouse will taking over the spot of the recently closed Brio Italian Grille on Haddonfield Road. This was Brio's last New Jersey location. Its restaurants in Marlton and Freehold Raceway Mall closed earlier in the year after the chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August of 2025.

The old Brio Italian Grille will be renovated for the new steakhouse
The approved zoning permit reveals some changes to the building Fogo De Chao will make before opening. There are plans to enclose the covered outdoor patio and lessen the number of seats inside from 367 to 296, the article says. No word on when it's expected to open.

Fogo De Chao is opening a Princeton, NJ location
Fogo De Chao is also expanding to Princeton, New Jersey (Mercer County). This will be the first Central Jersey location. There are approved plans for the restaurant to be in the new Princeton Executive Park, off Route 1, near MarketFair Mall. No word on an opening date yet. Other New Jersey locations include Wayne, Paramus, and Bridgewater.
