Anthropologie Introduces Plus-Size Clothing Line
According to CBS News, the Philadelphia-based women's clothing store, Anthropologie, has introduces a clothing line for women size 16W-26W. And we're not talking about just a few styles. APlus by Anthropologie is launching with over 120 styles.
Anthropologie, which is a subsidiary of Urban Outfitters, opened it's first store in 1992 in Wayne, PA. The store locator on the company's website shows that there are now over 200 stores in the US, Canada, France, Germany and the UK.
On Anthropologie's website, Hillary Super, the Co-President of the company, says that APlus is "A collection with all the fun, charm and romance of Anthropologie." Karen Wilkins, a Technical Designer, adds, "Each and every piece is thoughtfully tailored with women's real proportions in mind."
If you already shop at Anthropologie, you know that the clothing can be pricey. For example, dresses featured items in the APlus collection are priced from $150-280. Featured jeans are around $200. And featured t-shirts start at just under $50.
To start, the APlus collection will only be available online at Anthropologie.com and at 10 Anthropologie stores. The King of Prussia location is one of the 10, but stores in Marketfair in Princeton and The Promenade at Sagemore in Marlton are not on the initial list.
