The death of George Floyd back in May sparked a worldwide revolution. People all over the world have now opened their eyes to a serious racism problem in our country. It seemed like the world just sort of stopped and people started to listen. They starting listening to one another and started realizing that all of our lives matter and we all need to stand up for those who can't speak and do something about it. One of the signs I've been seeing at protests that I can relate to is, "I understand that I will never understand, but I stand." I don't know what it's like to be black, but I know I will try my best to do better. Various industries have also vowed to do better and Johnson & Johnson is one of them who according to The Hill, donated $1 million to Black lives Matter.

According to their Instagram, Band-Aid bandages, who are owned by Johnson & Johnson are going to have bandages available in five different skin tones. Besides changing the color of their band-aids to match multiple skin tones, they are also donating $100,000 to the Black Lives Matter organization and they're not the only brand either. There are plenty of brands like fashion and beauty brands, home brands, designers, that are all supporting the Black Lives Matter organization and calling to change racism everywhere. I think this is amazing especially because band-aids are so brightly colored and stand out on people's arms, so i's nice that now they will blend and now all complexions will have a shade.
