NJ.com reports, Bobby Flay's restaurant that is located in the Borgata will close at the end of June. Bobby Flay Steaks opened in the Borgata Hotel back in 2006 and will permanently close on June 30th because of a new business strategy for the hotel and casino. There will be another restaurant opening in the space immediately after the closure. Bobby Flay has Bobby's Burger Palace locations as well as steakhouses all over the country. There are not many if any still in New Jersey.

I remember when we attended the soft opening of Bobby's Burger Palace in Marketfair in Princeton. It was one of the first years I was on air with Chris and the Crew on PST and it was one of the coolest experiences. We got to meet Bobby, sample the delicious menu and let me tell you, we stuffed our faces that day. I visited many times after that soft opening day and stuffed my face every time. It was delicious and I loved the flow and theme of the restaurant. You placed your order, they made it when you ordered it and then a server would bring it over. I was very saddened to hear that they were closing permanently. Just another restaurant we lost to the pandemic. I think we're going to start seeing closings happening more and more even though things are starting to go back to normal. It's very sad to see and I only hope that some businesses can either recover or their owners can find a way to keep paying their bills somehow.

Restaurants Hiring in Mercer County

Unemployment rates have gone down for the first time since the pandemic, but there are still a lot of people looking for jobs. As more and more people get vaccinated and state restrictions are being lifted, people are going out more, especially to restaurants. My family and I did some outdoor dining a few weeks ago on a nice night and the restaurant was slammed. I feel like they were not prepared for the rush that came in. I see signs on so many windows that say "Help Wanted" or "Now Hiring" and I wanted to highlight a few of those restaurants if you or anyone you know if looking for a job.
